It has been an exciting past few years! We are fresh off a very successful project so it is about time to blow our own horn a little bit.

The department of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) of the Canadian Federal government had a requirement to replace its financial system. The goal was to replace the custom mainframe based application and several dozen other systems with and ERP system.

The ERP chosen was SAP R/3 Enterprise.

RaisIT Consulting's founder and president, Ray Doré, was selected to design a technical solution and lead a team of system administrators to implement the solution.

Success! This project was originally costed at $60 million. PWGSC's new ERP system, now dubbed SIGMA, went live on time, in scope and under budget!

With the system in full daily 24x7 opereation, we were retained until past the first full year end cycle. This was to ensure that proper system operations, security  and governance were all in place and able to continue to operate in a controlled manner. After 16 months of production operation, SIGMA had zero unplanned downtime!
